IM BACK....

LOL, well I'm back on the up, I think.  After a slightly longer than brief period of yuck, I think I can see the light again! After a wee dose of perspective and a bit of focusing on me, what it'll take to get where I really want to be, I'm hoping i've managed to come through the other side! that's what I've loved most about today! stepping up to the mark, taking responsibility for me again, taking back the control in my life :-D

My Wee Zuk!

Can ya guess what I loved about today? LOL! driving my wee Zuk about the place, a great sunny day, she's finally got her front wheel fixed! yey! I love driving, I should've got a job as a rally car racer! I'd love that! haha!

Oh, the smell of fresh cut grass, one of my favourites! Its definitely in my top 5! :-D

I had a really nice walk down the glen near my house, its so so beautiful down there. 

So peaceful! I love it! 

Its Saturday today, and although this is a blog about appreciation, I want to add that saturdays are generally a hard day for me. My friends mostly married or unavailable, Im left to my own devices, which is fine as I'm good with my own company, but sometimes its nice to have a little bit of company, make the weekends something to look forward, as they should be. I hope some day soon that my weekends will be as fun filled as everyone else's :-)

tea anyone?

I have to admit, I never really got the whole "tea" thing, ever the coffee drinker. But of late, I'm loving the crazy black stuff! LOL! I never thought I'd ever say that! 

Well on the the more serious stuff! Today, Im loving......... Laughing with my friends, Its great when someone just "gets" you, even though when explaining something has the potential to get really confused and messy, but they understand you exactly! I love the people in my life. I am truly lucky! 

Ps. Also, as a young Lady, Im loving the compliments on my favourite dress! :-D

.....A little help from a friend

Yesterday was a bit of a major day, highs and lows all over the place. But it was with the help of a great friend that I finally got some clarity, that I've needed for a pretty long time. This is what I loved about yesterday. Realizing that I have people who want to be there for me, as I am for them. Loneliness is an awful feeling, so to come from that to knowing that people care, was truly enlightening. Sometimes all you have to do is answer that question "how are you" in just a slight different way, don't fall back to your standard "I'm great".... especially when you know its a lie.

Any Old Wednesday

Nothing major today, reading a funny little book at the minute! I enjoy a bit if humor, its nice sometimes to have a chilled out read. 

Went shopping with my Cousin and Sister today, dangerous I tell ya! LOL! But definitely fun! 

I think sometimes its nice to have an average day, its important to appreciate the smaller things in life, don't wait for the big things to make you happy.

Teaching my Nephew to build blocks up high without making them fall over, he kept saying "Kywa, Kywa, tell me eeeassssyyy!" LOL! so adorable, he wanted me to guide him with "eeasssssyyyy" with each new block! Kids, they say the cutest things! 

Also driving along on my way home from work, singing at the top of my lungs to some JT, love it! :-D 

The Place I Love Most!

Well, so much to say! I've been camping with two of my best buddies, at a place that I truly love, Dunseverick harbor. Its got the most beautiful views, and always manages to fill up my soul with calm. We took a trip to my favourite beach, and walked along the waters edge, there's nothing better than walking bare foot on the wet sand, wind blowing on the face. I love it! 

  

What's not to love! My little piece of heaven! It makes me happy to share it with the people I love! I cant wait until I can move there.

Laughing with my Dad about the Thunder and Lightening! So loud it made the house shake! Dad having been outside came running in, like an excited child "did ya hear that, did ya hear that!.....I betcha it was right over head" LOL! I bet he was right too!.......but it was great having fun with my Dad that way. I find it gets harder as you get older to relate, so it was nice to get the chance to go back to being a big kid right along with him!

Today has definitely been a good day!

Favourite view in the world!

This is my little blog of things I realize on a daily basis, that I love, that I realize I just cant do without. In life, I find its too easy to remember the horrible trawl we all have to go through. So I've decided that this place will be my constant reminder that there are things, occasions, people, that truly make you feel like life is worth living!

Today, I realized I absolutely love the view on my journey home from work. Its so ancient, you can see for miles across the Lough, it speaks a thousand stories still untold. This view is truly beautiful, heaven sent. Sun cutting through the clouds to stretch down over the mountains and down to the water, this photo really doesn't do it justice! This is what I loved most about today, and I am lucky to get chance to be in my favorite place 5 times a week! I am lucky!
